We received a question regarding the Executive Board and Unit Officers ballots that were sent out to the membership on Monday, October 19th, 2026. All of the Unit ballots (Units 1-5) state 1600 – Unit # followed by GENERAL OFFICE (i.e. 1600-1 GENERAL OFFICE) below the ballot instructions. All information regarding the Unit number and the nominees for each specific Unit are correct. The intent of the “GENERAL OFFICE” title was to reflect election of officers for the General Office of that particular unit. Due to the recent Unit restructuring, the following is a list of each Unit and the formal Unit name for each. This information is to further clarify the Unit that each member now belongs to and to ensure you received the proper ballot. 1600-1: Harrisburg Unit
1600-2: Lancaster/Ephrata Unit
1600-3: Lehigh Unit
1600-4: Northern/Central Unit
1600-5: Susquehanna Unit

Attention:
Following distribution of the 2026 officer election ballots, an error was found on the Local Union Officers ballot. Presidential nominee Eric Jacobs name is misprinted on the ballot. The name appears on the ballot as Eric Jacob NOT Eric Jacobs. The nominee has been informed of the error and was given options on how the issue could be rectified and our International Representative has been consulted. As a result, all ballots that have been returned (or will be returned prior to the November 5th, 2026 deadline) with a vote for Eric Jacob will be accepted and counted as a VALID vote for Eric Jacobs.
