We were informed last Friday afternoon that the print shop experienced technical difficulties with their printers, which has delayed the mailing of the ballots until October 19, 2026. Due to this delay, our Judge of Elections has extended the ballot return deadline to November 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
This extension is in accordance with Article III, Section 8, Paragraph k of our Bylaws, which states: “The Election Judge may extend the time for the receipt of ballots in the event of an extraordinary event beyond the control of the Local Union.” A letter explaining this extension will be included with your ballot when it arrives.
