Congratulations to Herb Eisenman on completing the 50th Marine Corps Marathon. If you don’t know Herb, he has been managing many positions over the last few years. He is a Journeyman Electrician from Frackville, Central region Chief Union Steward, Unit 5 Executive Board representative, Unit 5 Unit Chairman, and the full-time substation bargaining unit trainer at Walbert. I won’t add his age, but I can assure you he has more years in the work force behind him than he does in front of him to retirement. Somehow, he managed to find dedication, commitment, and stamina to train, enter, and finish the 50th Marine Corps Marathon on October 25th. The marathon is 26. 2 miles long and travels through Arlington Virginia and Washington DC. Finishers are presented with a medal by an active-duty Marine. Herb’s commitment and determination to add this accomplishment to his resume is admirable. Local 1600 is proud and fortunate to have Herb as a colleague and friend.
