Hello fellow Brothers and Sisters,
Unfortunately summer is coming to and end. Hopefully everyone got to enjoy the last few weeks. It definitely did not start out great. As fall approaches and leaves start falling, please be careful and cautious as you perform your tasks.
As everyone is aware we are working on two contracts currently. Please keep ,in mind as we work through these, is to stay focus and perform our jobs safely!! It is very easy to get distracted when going through these situations. Also be patient. We all want to know what is going on , but sometimes the deal or the information changes daily. We will get out information as soon as it is the proper time and things are finalized. We have been hearing that we are not hearing (you) the membership and not covering the topics of concern. I want to personally say, that is far from truthful! The team is trying to get you the best deal possible!
There are currently no Arbitrations in the areas I cover. Also grievances have been very minimal as well. I want to Thank all the Chief Stewards and Stewards for the work they do and for trying to get most of the issues fixed at the local level when they can!! With great teamwork we can accomplish great things!
Lets hope we can soon close these contract talks for both Talen and Safe Harbor soon! WE all hope to get back to business as usual!! And remember you can always reach out with any questions or concerns.
