Hello Brothers and Sisters
Hard to believe we are in August already. It was definitely and crazy summer with some increased storm activity. Again, stay aware in those situations. As we inch closer to summers end and the return to back to school, be prepared for the kid activity along the roadways and new bus traffic. Plan ahead for your commute to maybe now be slowed by the new bus traffic, especially in the first few days of the new school year.
Brookfield- The LTD MA has been reviewed and accepted giving those members an increased Max benefit.
Montour- Unit 2 was available to go commercial on gas on Aug 10,2023. Unit 1 is completing final testing and should be following availability within the next week or so.
No word on possible settlements yet, but arbitration dates are being set now for some of the older grievances that have been scheduled.
Brunner Island- Units 1,2, and 3 are available and were running when requested by PJM. Unit 3 is now fully repaired to operate at full capacity.
We have a few ongoing grievances, and a few settlement offers given. Waiting on responses. We have arbitration dates being set up for new ones submitted and starting to get date offers as well for some older cases.
