Brothers and Sisters,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe summer. We are now approaching the best time of year in my opinion. Please use caution as the season changes and fall projects and cleanup begins.
We have been busy at the hall. There is lots to touch on.
We have finally got the Safe Harbor folks a fair contract. I want to thank the team for their efforts and hard work. Also welcome aboard to our new members!! It’s was great to see them sticking together when the first offer wasn’t what worked for them and we dug in to fight for what they wanted!! Unfortunately now the work begins with the company already challenging interpretations. We will try hard and use the process if necessary to make things right!
I want to touch on the Fossil world. Since 2018 the company has failed to train the new Fossil Specialists on any type of Maintenance. Countless tries to get it up and running have been made. We finally in the last few months have been meeting with the company to get the ball rolling to get training started. We are even looking at other specialties to get folks to level two. We ask that as these training programs roll out to give feedback and let us know what is or isn’t working. The goal is simple. Get trained so we can push out the contractors doing our work!!!
