Hello Fellow Brothers and Sisters,
Winter has definitely hit us hard. Looks like old Phil has given us a few more weeks as well. As always a simple reminder to stay more aware and careful when navigating the slick surfaces that are out there. Also dress for the occasion even if you think it might only be a short period, you never know what could change!! Also want to put a shout out and THANK YOU to everyone in these past few tough weeks. You folks logged a lot of hours but kept the everything running to ensure we all maintain our livelyhoods.

As usual things have been busy. We have two new companies and some new members to welcome aboard!! Congrats to the Safe Harbor and Rent-O-Kil folks on their successful organizing!! Welcome aboard! With that said we will be busy working on getting contracts in place. Also have Talen ahead of us too. Definitely going to be a busy year!

Montour- Unit one offline and Unit 2 running at the time of writing. One new hire for fossil specialist trainee in process. We had two new hires since my last update, welcome aboard! Issues with the Bushpa position and how its being utilized. One grievance awaiting an arbitration date over promotion issues.

Brunner- All units were online at time of writing. At this time there are no current grievances or arbitrations. There is a few issues regarding contractor use that need discussed. Since last writing I believe there has been almost 11 new hires at Brunner. Welcome to those who have recently started!

Holtwood- Most units running or available. An agreement was reached for a retiree to help for a period of time due to a staffing shortage.

We are nearing a point where we will start seeing new folks coming into our ranks. Let’s welcome them with open arms and show them the brotherhood we try to maintain. Also help them and remind them that we are here to watch out for each other, so we all have a safe day each and every day.

Thanks for everything you do!!
Fraternally.
Gene
